About Heartland Videos

Jeff Ames is the owner of Heartland Videos, which is part of Des Moines-based Take One Productions.

Jeff is an award-winning producer, director, writer and editor with over 40 years of professional film and video production experience. In addition to producing wedding videos, Jeff
has worked on local, regional and national TV series, web videos, commercials, infomercials, marketing, promotional and motivational videos, and training materials for Fortune 500 companies.

When he is not producing or directing, Jeff teaches video production, writing. and editing at Iowa State University and Grand View University.
